Every other army’s points, Detachment Points and enhancement costs are as they were on 30 September.
New Space Marine points
These prices apply to Space Marines and every chapter: Blood Angels, Dark Angels, Space Wolves, Black Templars and Deathwatch. Most of the cuts take back part of a 30 September rise: Intercessors, Terminators, Chaplains and the Techmarine come down. Eradicators, Hellblasters, Inceptors, Heavy Intercessors and Bladeguard go up.
Tap to see every price that moved. These are the prices of your first copy of each unit. Up means the unit costs more; down means it is cheaper.

Where a chapter differs
- Black Templars keep their own Gladiator and Repulsor Executioner prices, which did not move: Gladiator Lancer and Reaper 165, Gladiator Valiant 145, Repulsor Executioner 265. They have no Librarian in Terminator Armour.
- Deathwatch have no Terminator Squad or Terminator Assault Squad; their own Deathwatch Terminator Squad is unchanged.
- Space Wolves get three changes of their own, below.
Extra copies
Many units cost more once you take several of them. On these units, that higher price changed as well, or now starts from a different copy. Each cell shows the higher price and the copy it starts from; copies before that cost the first-copy price above.
- Land Raiders now cost more from the second copy, not the third.
- Invictor Tactical Warsuit now costs more from its third copy. It used to be one price however many you took.

Space Wolves
- Wolf Guard Headtakers. On 30 September, each of the two smaller sizes showed the price of the size above it. Today’s manual puts them back: three Headtakers cost 85 (was 115), and three Headtakers with three Hunting Wolves cost 115 (was 170). Six Headtakers are still 170, and six with six wolves are still 230. From the third copy: 95, 125, 180 and 240.
- Storm shields cost 5 points each again on Thunderwolf Cavalry and Wolf Guard Terminators. They were free from 30 September.
Six Headtakers and three Headtakers with three wolves are both six models, so the app now lists them as two sizes, each with its own price. Lists imported from the GW app pick the right one from their points. A six-model unit you built before today is priced as three and three (115); pick “6 Wolf Guard Headtakers” under Unit Size if yours has no wolves.
Twelve detachments lose their Unique tag
A Unique tag stops you taking two detachments that share it. These no longer have one, so you can now pair them (you still need the Detachment Points):
- Aeldari (was Unique: Acrobatic): Fateful Performance, Ghosts of the Webway, Serpent’s Brood, Twilight Flickers.
- Drukhari: Covenite Coterie and Tools of Torment (was Unique: Covens); Exhibition of Slaughter and Spectacle of Spite (was Unique: Wych Cult); Kabalite Agonysts and Kabalite Cartel (was Unique: Kabal).
- Genestealer Cults (was Unique: Purestrain): Biosanctic Broodsurge and Purestrain Broodswarm.
Their Detachment Points, Force Dispositions and enhancement costs are unchanged.
Use it without an account
You no longer need an account to use Warp Nexus. Tap Continue without an account on the sign-in screen and everything works: lists, the Codex, the War Room and StarCraft. What you make is saved on that device.
An account is still free, and it’s what syncs your lists and games between your phone and computer. It also keeps them safe if a device is lost or its browser data is cleared. Make one whenever you like from Profile, and everything you built without one comes with you.
Knights as allies, and every ally limit checked
- Chaos Knights in Chaos armies. Chaos Space Marines, Death Guard, Thousand Sons, World Eaters, Emperor’s Children and Chaos Daemons can now add Chaos Knights from Allied Units (Dreadblades): either one Titanic Knight or up to three War Dogs.
- Imperial Knights in Imperium armies. Every Imperium army, Imperial Agents included, can now add one Titanic Imperial Knight or up to three Armigers (Freeblades).
- Daemonic Pact fixed. Death Guard, Thousand Sons, World Eaters, Emperor’s Children and Chaos Knights armies could pick Legionaries, Chaos Lords and Cultists from the daemons list. They can’t any more. And in Chaos Space Marines lists, your own Chaos Lords and Legionaries no longer count towards the daemon points limit.
As printed, allied Knights can’t be your Warlord or take Enhancements. The app flags a list that takes a Titanic Knight alongside War Dogs or Armigers, or more than one Titanic Knight or three small ones.
Every ally limit is now checked
The app already let these units in. It now holds them to the limits that come with them, so a list that breaks one shows it under Issues:
- Imperial Agents in another Imperium army: up to 1, 2 or 3 Retinue units and the same number of Character units, and 1, 1 or 2 Requisitioned units, for Incursion, Strike Force and Onslaught.
- Chaos Space Marines taking Khorne Berzerkers, Rubric Marines, Plague Marines or Noise Marines (Cult of the Dark Gods): 250, 500 or 750 points between them.
- Daemonic Pact: a daemon can’t be your Warlord or take an Enhancement, and for each god, you need at least as many Battleline units as other units.
- Units only a detachment allows now need that detachment: Shadow Legion’s Chaos Space Marines in Chaos Daemons, Astra Militarum in Genestealer Cults (Brood Brother Auxilia, with its banned keywords), Tyranids in Genestealer Cults (Final Day), Skitarii and Tech-Priests with Imperial Knights (Questor Forgepact), and the Damned with Chaos Knights (Iconoclast Fiefdom).
- Death Guard, Thousand Sons, World Eaters and Emperor’s Children get their own god’s bigger daemon allowance, 500, 1,000 or 1,500 points, under Tallyband Summoners, Changehost of Deceit, Khorne Daemonkin and Carnival of Excess.
- Your own units stay your own. Sororitas Sanctifiers, a Guard Ministorum Priest and Deathwatch Kill Teams no longer count as Imperial Agents just because an agent shares their name.
Codex: Space Marines, checked against the printed book
When Space Marines moved onto their codex on 30 September, some of it came from previews and a filmed review, and a few weapons and abilities weren’t clear enough to read. Those kept their old profile or said “check your codex”. We’ve now gone through the printed codex itself: every datasheet from Roboute Guilliman to the Gladiators, and all fifteen codex detachments. This part arrived this morning in app 1.3.1.
The gaps are filled
On 33 datasheets, a weapon or ability was still waiting for a clearer look. All of them now come from the book: 65 weapon profiles and 9 abilities. None of the full codex datasheets borrows a weapon or ability from last edition any more. A few examples:
- Captain: the master-crafted bolter, neo-volkite pistol, supercharged plasma pistol, master-crafted power weapon and power fist.
- Repulsor and Repulsor Executioner: every gun now comes from the book, including the twin heavy bolter, the heavy laser destroyer and the macro plasma incinerator.
- Captain Titus, Iron Father Feirros and Suboden Khan: their signature weapons, and Titus’ Righteous Fury and Honour of Ultramar.
- Apothecary: the Narthecium heals D3+1 wounds in your Command phase.
- Marneus Calgar: Master Tactician, written out.
Three numbers corrected
The book showed that three values we’d read from the review were wrong:
- Captain, Finest Hour: +3 Attacks, not +1.
- Firestrike Servo-turrets, Hovering Bulk: 3 Attacks, not 1.
- Invictor Tactical Warsuit, Incendium Cannon: Damage 2, not 3.
Some things were missing outright and are back: Marneus Calgar’s melee profile for the Gauntlets of Ultramar (A6, S10, AP-3, D3), and the Rhino’s Veiling Smoke, the Firestrike Servo-turrets’ Sentinel Protocols and the Brutalis Dreadnought’s Brutalis Charge.
More of the codex on the part-done datasheets
The datasheets that carried only the parts we could read on 30 September now have every stat line, weapon and ability from the book that the app can show. That covers the named characters from Tigurius to Kor’sarro Khan, the Captain in Terminator and Gravis armour, the Lieutenant in Phobos armour, the Ancient in Terminator armour, the Techmarine, Assault Intercessors with Jump Packs, Incursors, Vanguard Veterans, Eradicators, the Drop Pod, the Land Raider, both Storm Speeders and the Gladiators. Aethon Shaan and the Wardens of Ultramar get their codex weapons and abilities for the first time.
Where the codex renamed something, the app now shows the new rule instead of keeping the old one alongside it. Where a weapon split into firing modes — the Eradicators’ hunter profiles, the Terminator Captain’s combi-weapon — you get every profile.
Two limits remain. A few weapons the codex redesigned, such as the Vanguard Veterans’ weapons and the Gladiators’ Defensive Array, still show their current version. And an ability the codex removed can still appear on these sheets.
Detachments, enhancements and army rules
- All fifteen codex detachments were read again from the book: every rule, stratagem (cost, timing, phase) and enhancement matched what the app already had. Imperium’s Sword now spells out that its Damage is a flat 3, so it can’t be mistaken for a D3 roll.
- Six enhancements fixed on the Space Marines faction. Laurels of Triumph, Standard of the Emperor Ascendant, Supercharged Engines and Auspex Triangulation Shrines opened with no text, and Gunnery Honours and Redoubtable Machine Spirit showed last edition’s rule. The Blood Angels, Dark Angels, Space Wolves and other chapter copies were already right; the Space Marines ones now match.
- Combat Doctrines now says when you pick one — at the start of your Command phase — and that it lasts until the start of your next one.
- Transhuman Strategist gives you 1CP at the start of each battle round if your Warlord has it.
- Librarius: in each battle round, a psyker can use psychic abilities whose levels add up to no more than its own psyker level.
Still to come
The chapter sections of the codex aren’t in this update. Blade of Ultramar, Spearpoint Task Force, Medusa’s Wrath, Ceramite Sentinels, Forgefather’s Seekers, Shadowmark Talon and the Blood Angels, Dark Angels, Space Wolves, Black Templars and Deathwatch detachments still show what’s been revealed so far, or “check your codex”. The same goes for chapter-only datasheets. Kaius Konorius is priced but still has no datasheet in the app.

On a phone, the race and rules buttons at the top of the StarCraft Codex were cut to half height. They’re back to full size.
